The Parliament of Georgia overcame the President’s veto on the bill “On Transparency of Foreign Influence”.

The project presented by the Georgian Dream and vetoed by Salome Zourabichvili was supported by 84 votes.

The draft law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” will be sent to the President for his signature once again. It must be submitted to Salome Zourabichvili within 3 days, she has a 5-day deadline to sign it. If the President does not sign the law, it will be signed and published by the Chairman of the Parliament within 5 days.
