The strong winds struck the municipality of Akhmeta, Kakheti region, causing significant damage.

It have resulted in the uprooting of trees and severe damage to vehicles.

Besides, the roof of the Alaverdi Cathedral and the surrounding area were damaged because to the storm.

Relevant services have already been mobilized to the site.
