The Minister of Sports of Georgia, Shalva Gogoladze, held a meeting with Michael Cepic, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central European Anti-Doping Organization.
Michael Cepic is a member of the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Agency [WADA] and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Austria.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Anti-Doping Control and Education Agency of Georgia and the Central European Anti-Doping Organization.
The memorandum entails a two-year cooperation aimed at developing and strengthening an anti-doping system in Georgia that complies with the World Anti-Doping Code and international standards.
