The Mayor of Tbilisi congratulated Georgian national football team player Georges Mikautadze on becoming the top co-scorer of the European Championship.

“Georges Mikautadze became the co-scorer of the European Championship and the holder of the Golden Boot. I congratulate Goerges and Georgia”, - wrote Kakha Kaladze.

UEFA confirmed that they would share the Euro 2024 Golden Boot between 6 players if Sunday’s final between England and Spain failed to produce a clear winner of the trophy. 3 goals were scored by Mikautadze, Jamal Musiala (Germany), Harry Kane (England), Cody Gapko (the Netherlands), Dani Olmo (Spain) and Ivan Shrantz (Slovakia).
