The politicians who left the “European Georgia” are founding a new party, the presentation of which will be held tomorrow, August 15, at 19:00.

The name of the party will be “Federalists”.

“The party’s congress will be held in September, and it will be during this period that the public will know in what form the new party will participate in the elections”, - writes Tamar Chergoleishvili, one of the leaders of the new party, on the social network.

The members split off from European Georgia after Chair Giga Bokeria left the party over “disagreement and serious controversy concerning the way of conducting primaries”.
