Georgian parajudoka Giorgi Kaldani is in the final of the Paralympics

Georgian parajudoka Giorgi Kaldani [73 kg, category J2] will compete in the finals of the Paris Paralympics. He defeated Uchkun Kuranbaev [Uzbekistan], the gold medalist of the Tokyo Paralympics, in the semi-finals.

Kaldani is a two-time European champion and a multiple winner of international tournaments. He is competing at the Paralympics for the second time.

Georgia has 14 athletes competing in six different sports at the Paris Paralympics.
