The Anti-Corruption Bureau canceled its decision to declare “Transparency International – Georgia” and its executive director, Eka Gigauri, “entities with a declared electoral goal”. The Head of the agency, Razhden Kuprashvili, made the relevant statement.
“No one should be given the opportunity to question the results recorded by the citizens of Georgia in the elections.
Based on the above and the national interest of the country, I consider it necessary to cancel all the decisions about the Transparency International - Georgia to and its Executive Director, Eka Gigauri, according to which the organization and Eka Gigauri was tasked to make transparent the expenses incurred in political processes and make them known to the public”, - said Razhden Kuprashvili.
