The strong wind damaged the roofs of multi-storey and private houses in the Imereti region.

According to the decree of the Georgian Government, more than GEL 2 million was allocated from the budget for disaster relief. The money will be used to restore damaged infrastructure in Samtredia, Sachkhere, Tskaltubo, Tkibuli, Khoni, Terjola, Baghdati and Vani municipalities.

Representatives of the local government met the residents in connection with the restoration works.
