The Prime Minister of Georgia claimed the opposition was trying to create a parallel agenda, but they would not succeed.
“The parliamentary elections are over. In the near future, the results of the elections will be summarised by the Central Election Commision, after that, very soon, the first meeting of the Parliament will be held at the end of the month, and then, in a few days, the composition of the Government will be formed. This is the agenda that, naturally, our country will live by.
As for the opposition, they are trying to create a parallel agenda, but they will not succeed. Four years ago, they had a kind of successful attempt to shift the development of our country and relevant processes to another agenda, then you remember the shift of the country from the constitutional framework, the sabotage of the Parliament, the well-known April 19 agreement, there is no resource for this today.
The processes will continue as usual, the first session of the Parliament will be held, [they] will give a vote of confidence to the Government. This is the agenda by which the processes will develop”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
