Giorgi Gakharia, the leader of Gakharia-For Georgia party, held today a briefing and called on the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia not to attend the opening session of the 11th convocation of Parliament to show that they don’t recognize the legitimacy of the fraudulent election results.

“I specifically appeal to the embassies of the United States and the European Union member states. Given the current legitimacy crisis in the country and the widespread belief among citizens that the elections have been manipulated, I respectfully request that ambassadors refrain from attending the first parliamentary session. This step would help prevent the legitimization of what many perceive as electoral manipulation”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.

He also called on Georgian citizens and supporters to express their dissent on the day of the session, asserting that the elections were neither fair nor democratic and that their results were unacceptable.
