The Parliament of Georgia starts today the confidence vote procedures. At 13:00, the Foreign Relations Committee will hold a hearing on Maka Bochorishvili’s candidature for Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Before the committee session, Prime Minister’s candidate, Irakli Kobakhidze, will submit an updated Government composition and program.
Per the norms, parliamentary committees will hear ministerial candidates based on their fields, and the Prime Minister candidate, along with the Government team, would appear before Parliament in plenary sessions.
A vote of confidence needs the backing of 76 MPs.
