On December 12-14, precipitation is expected in Georgia, with heavy snow and blizzards in some places in the mountains and highlands, strong westerly winds, and a storm of 4-5 points at sea.
On December 14, snow is expected in the lowlands and marshes.
The expected precipitation may significantly increase water levels in the rivers of Western Georgia, trigger landslides and mudslides in hilly areas, and cause avalanches in the high-mountainous regions of the country. Traffic may be restricted on certain sections of roads due to heavy snowfall, avalanche danger, loose ice, and poor visibility [danger level – medium].
