The employees of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, detained G. Kh., (DoB 1998) for damaging an object committed by a group. They were arrested based on the Court decision.

The committed crime envisions up to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on December 4 of the current year, during the rally on Rustaveli Avenue, the accused person, together with the accompanying persons, damaged 7 video surveillance cameras of Public Safety Command Center 112. Police arrested G.Kh. in Tbilisi as a result of the investigative actions.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues its investigative activities in order to identify and arrest other persons involved in the crime.

The investigation is being carried out under Article 187, Part II, Sub-paragraph "C” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies damaging an object in group.
