The main Christmas tree of the capital will be lit on Saturday, December 14. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“As you know, preparations for the holiday are actually in the final stage. New Year’s lights are installed on all central avenues, except Rustveli.

As for Rustaveli Avenue, the works of decoration with illuminations will start a little later. I would like to inform the population that the main Christmas tree of Tbilisi will be lit on Saturday, December 14, and festive lights will be gradually switched on throughout the city.

Tbilisi will continue to be the most magical, beautiful, New Year’s decorated city, where people, our kids, will have a feeling of happiness and joy. Of course, children will see a real holiday and have fun, all the conditions will be created for this.

Unfortunately, there are certain forces, both inside and outside the country, who have been trying to bring unrest in Georgia for the past few days. However, I would like to address you, the citizens of our country, and tell you that there will definitely be peace, development and all steps will be taken on the path of Georgia’s European integration. So, let’s light the main Christmas tree together! We are waiting for you all on Saturday, December 14 at 19:00.
