Employees of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the operative-search measures and investigative activities, detained G.B. (DoB 1991) for theft.

The committed crime envisions up to 5 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on December 12 of the current year, the accused person damaged the glass door of “Art-Time” store located on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi, illegally entered the facility and took possession of watches.

As a result of the conducted search and investigative actions, the law enforcement officers arrested the accused person in Gori.

Some of the stolen watches were seized as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted in accordance with sub-paragraph “a” and “b” of II part under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to theft committed by breaking into a parking lot or storage, which caused significant damage.
