Maka Botchorishvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ahmed Alnuaimi, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Georgia, discussed cooperation between the countries at an introductory meeting.

They highlighted the “intensively developing relations” between the UAE and Georgia, underlined the importance of further deepening the ties in various fields, as well as exchanging “high-level” visits.

The officials also reviewed the current developments in the Middle East region.

The Ambassador congratulated Botchorishvili on her appointment as the Minister and wished her success in her future endeavours. Botchorishvili and Alnuaimi expressed readiness to “contribute to further deepening fruitful cooperation between the nations”.
