Leaders of the European Union will gather in Brussels today, December, 19. Among other issues, they will discuss the situation in Georgia.

"Given the current developments, EU leaders may discuss specific foreign policy issues, including events in Georgia and Moldova", - reads the EU statement.

Participants will also discuss issues related to Ukraine, the Middle East, migration, and other foreign policy matters.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who is already in Brussels, has been invited to the meeting.
