The director of Vivamedi clinic said that Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti, who is on a hunger strike, will continue receiving treatment at the clinic.
“She was admitted to the clinic and underwent necessary laboratory and instrumental examinations. The results were reviewed, and she was offered inpatient treatment, to which she agreed.
Amaghlobeli is currently receiving inpatient care. Naturally, there were changes in the laboratory test results, which is why continued treatment in a hospital setting was necessary. She continues her hunger strike”, - said Zurab Chkhaidze.
Mzia Amaghlobeli has been on a hunger strike at Rustavi Prison. The Batumi City Court ordered her imprisonment as a preventive measure on January 14, following her arrest on January 12 under Article 353 of the Criminal Code [the assault of a police officer].
