Irakli Chikovani, Minister of Defense of Georgia, participated in the 26th meeting of the Rammstein Group Format at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, attended by defence leaders and senior officials from Alliance members and partner countries.

The UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey, opened the meeting. The newly appointed US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth addressed the high-ranking officials.

Participants of the event discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine and the necessary assistance for the country.

The Ukraine Defence Contact Group meetings were launched in April 2022 at the initiative of the US. The 26th meeting was chaired by the UK.
