Trailers loaded with basic necessities, a total of 10,000 boxes, products and medicines, have arrived in all three municipalities of Guria - Levan Zhorzholiani. Such a statement made Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Georgian Government Administration.

“We have several priority areas, and specific tasks are assigned during our headquarters meetings at the beginning of the day. Reports are then reviewed at the end of the day. We have made serious progress in restoring electricity. At the start of the disaster, 35,000 customers were without power. By yesterday morning, over 24,000 had been reconnected, and by the end of the day, an additional 4,800 were restored. We are making good progress in this regard.

In many villages access had been restored up to central areas, allowing direct communication with residents and facilitating the delivery of essential supplies such as food and medicine if needed.

In terms of gas supply, 1,300 subscribers were initially disconnected, and more than half have already been restored. We expect even better dynamics and results today. All available resources have been mobilized, and our response efforts are being carried out with proper coordination and efficient management”, - said Levan Zhorzholiani.
