      Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated citizens of Azerbaijani origin on the celebration of Novruz Bayram.

      The Head of Government, alongside President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, attended the festive events dedicated to Novruz Bayram in Marneuli.

      In his address, Irakli Kobakhidze wished peace and prosperity to citizens with Azerbaijani origin.

      “Novruz Bayram is a celebration of renewal and goodness. We take pride in the centuries-long coexistence and friendship between us-Christians and Muslims, Georgians and Azerbaijanis. This is truly a relationship and friendship we can be proud of. For many years, we have been building the future of our shared country together. This history continues today, and it is a wonderful tradition that we must pass on to our children and future generations. Once again, I would like to congratulate you on Novruz Bayram and wish you all the best, peace and prosperity”, - said the Prime Minister.

      He also visited an exhibition space and an ethnographic corner set up in the center of Marneuli in honor of the celebration and attended various sports and cultural events.

      Azerbaijani citizens were also congratulated on Novruz Bayram by the President of Georgia Mikheil Kavlashvili, Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Thea Akhvlediani, State Representative in Kvemo Kartli Giorgi Dokhturishvili, Public Defender Levan Ioselian, Members of Parliament, and officials of the local authority.
