Tornike Rizhvadze resigned as the Chairman of the Adjara Autonomous Republic government. He wrote about the mentioned decision on his Facebook page.
“I had served in this position for 7 years and feel that it is a high time for changes.
I would like to wish success to my successor and express my gratitude to the founder of the Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, for allowing me to serve my region.
I also thank Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, President Mikheil Kavelashvili for their support during my tenure as government Chairman.
I am grateful to each employee, party member, and my team. My special thanks go to the people of Adjara for their trust. I will remain a loyal soldier of the Georgian Dream, and I am sure that we have more victories ahead”, - writes Tornike Rizhvadze.
