Silk Road Group has released a statement regarding the detention of its founder, businessman Giorgi Ramishvili.

“Giorgi Ramishvili was detained on July 6 at Tbilisi International Airport during border control, after a legally purchased and registered firearm, which he was authorized to possess, was found in his carry-on luggage.

We urge all concerned parties to refrain from spreading unverified information, as the relevant legal procedures provided by law are currently underway”, - reads the statement published on the Facebook-page of Silk Road Group.
