For the first time in history, Georgia won a medal at the European Para Youth Games

Ana Japaridze, Georgian parataekwondo athlete, has claimed the gold medal at the European Para Youth Games - 2025, defeating a competitor from Turkiye in the final.

Her victory marks the 1st medal for Georgia’s Youth Paralympic team at the European Para Games.

Besides, Georgian paraswimmer Zako Mushkudiani is set to compete in the final session today.

The European Para Youth Games will continue until Monday, July 28.
