The Patriarch`s health remains a concern, though his condition is currently stable. The relevant statement was released by the Georgian Patriarchate.

"Following an unexpected complication, His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, is presently receiving treatment at the Caucasus Medical Centre. While his condition is concerning, it remains stable.

We kindly ask everyone to keep him in their prayers", - reads the statement.
