Such impressive, large-scale, and exciting new projects help develop our country’s transit role and significantly boost our economic potential. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this at the presentation of Tegeta Motors regional hub.
As he noted, the complex plays a crucial role in serving transit routes that connect Turkey, Azerbaijan, Central Asia, and Europe, offering international transport operators the exact same top-tier service found in the world’s leading industrial hubs.
“I am delighted to be here today in this impressive facility. As you know, developing our transit capacity is one of our country’s top priorities, and projects of this scale and nature directly support that goal. This is a massive project with an investment of roughly 100 million GEL, which greatly reinforces our economic potential. Built on the Tbilisi bypass road, this unique platform delivers standards that go well beyond national boundaries.
This marks the first multi-brand, multifunctional facility in the South Caucasus to integrate a complete range of services under one roof, which is naturally highly significant. The complex accommodates transit flows linking Turkey, Azerbaijan, Central Asia, and Europe, with the company providing international operators the same top-tier service available at global industrial hubs.
We are pleased to see businesses setting such high benchmarks for development, an area where Tegeta Holding truly stands out. The company’s commitment to environmental protection and workplace safety is equally commendable. Their modern, secure hazardous waste management standards demonstrate that our logistics corridor is not just fast and efficient, but also advanced and sustainable. Backing these initiatives remains a government priority, as a sustainable transit corridor depends heavily on cutting-edge services.
I want to thank the founder of Tegeta Holding, Mr. Temur, the management team, and every employee for successfully bringing this major business initiative to life. Projects of this magnitude firmly solidify Georgia’s position on the global economic map”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
