Based on the evidence presented by the Prosecutor`s Office, the defendant was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the illegal purchase, possession and illegal importation of narcotics into Georgia in a particularly large amount.

The Tbilisi City Court fully accepted the evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office and found the defendant guilty of the illegal purchase, storage and illegal importation of narcotics into Georgia in a particularly large amount.

The evidence examined during the trial confirmed that the defendant illegally purchased and stored a particularly large amount of substances containing the narcotic drug "cocaine base", which he illegally imported into Georgia from the Sarpi checkpoint on November 13, 2025.

The accused was charged under Article 260, Part Three, Subparagraph "a" (illegal purchase and storage of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) and Article 260, Part Four, Subparagraph "a" (illegal importation of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The court found the defendant guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 16 years in prison.
