Georgian students competed successfully at the International Olympiad in Informatics

Georgian students successfully competed at the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics - Andria Vasadze, a student of Vladimer Komarov Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School No. 199, won the silver medal, Vladimer Prangishvili, a student of the same school, won the bronze medal, and Nikoloz Melikishvili and Mate Rekhviashvili were awarded honorary diplomas of the Olympiad.

The selection, preparation and participation of the Georgian national team for the International Olympiad in Informatics is carried out by the administration of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

The leader of the Georgian national team is Giorgi Mandaria, the co-leader is Bakar Gamezardashvili, and the assistant is Tarash Dolaberidze.

International Educational Olympiads are distinguished by their scale and many years of experience. Their goal is to develop students’ knowledge and skills in various disciplines, share international experience, and promote cooperation between students and mentors from different countries.
