The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance informs you that on 28 August 2026, customs clearance checkpoints, the Border Inspection Units of the Sanitary, Phytosanitary and Veterinary Control Division and the Customs Transit Division will continue to operate as usual (through telephone communication, chat and other remote channels, to provide interested persons with information on customs formalities related to customs procedures, offer consultations regarding their application, and provide information on procedural matters and ongoing processes related to customs procedures).
On 28 August 2026, the Economic Zones for Customs Clearance across Georgia will not operate (except for the Goods Clearance and Logistics Divisions of the Economic Zones for Customs Clearance and the Postal Items Customs Control Division of the Economic Zone for Customs Clearance “Airport”). The Customs Clearance Units will also not operate on this date.
On the aforementioned date, the tariff prescribed for services provided by the customs authority during non-working hours/on a public holiday, as established by Resolution No. 96 of the Government of Georgia dated 30 March 2010, shall apply.
We further inform you that on 28 August 2026, the service centres of the Service Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance and the Information Call Centre (2 299 299) will not operate anywhere in Georgia.
