A working meeting was held, organised by Irakli Kadagishvili, Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, with members of the parliamentary majority, delegates represented in Parliament, and Ilia Begiashvili, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
Participants received updates on completed and ongoing infrastructure projects in the regions and municipalities of Georgia, as well as on the progress of the works.
As Irakli Kadagishvili noted, it is important for the delegates to receive information directly from a representative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure about projects underway in their respective municipalities, including the progress of the works and the current implementation stage of each infrastructure project.
He stated that the working meeting format was valuable from an informational perspective and that such meetings also produced practical results. At the working meeting, MPs and the Deputy Minister discussed infrastructure projects planned for municipalities in 2027 and the funding allocated from the state budget for their implementation.
