The Ambassador of Georgia to the United Kingdom, Ilia Darchiashvili, held a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Commons, The Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP.

The Speaker of the House of Commons congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him every success in his new role.

The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and the United Kingdom, emphasising the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in further strengthening ties between the two countries.
