Rustavi2 will announce results of exit polls conducted by GFK on October 8 at 8pm. The international organization will release percentage of political parties and data of proportional elections.

10 thousand voters will participate in the survey on 220 polling stations across the country . The margin of error will probably be 1 percent.
A sitting of the Georgian National Communications Commission was held today. The meeting has been scheduled after Shalva Ramishvili"s appeal.
The Commission requests additional information about the exit polls from Rustavi-2. In particular, they are interested how the broadcasting company has verified the accuracy of the research . They request a detailed information on the field work as well.
The Commission asks Rustavi2 to present an agreement, signed between the broadcasting company and GFK. Rustavi2 is ready to provide the document.
Nika Gvaramia, a Director General of Rustavi2 states that the broadcasting company has provided all necessary documents within the company"s competence.

" It is not within our competence to submit any other documents. We don"t have any other documentation. I believe that the Commission"s attitude is wrong and unlawful. This proceeding is directed against Rustavi2, otherwise such developments would appeal to any other TV company as well,"- said Nika Gvaramia. " We clearly see the Commission"s aim , which is h with the government"s desire not to allow us to publish exit polls. Even if you prohibit publication of exit polls, we"ll still do it " - Nika Gvaramia underlined.
The sitting at the Georgian National Communications Commission has ended, it will continue tomorrow. According to the Commission"s decision, Rustavi2 has to present all documents will 13:00 tomorrow.
