26-year-old Samira Ismailova is the first ethnic Azerbaijani female politician in the history of Georgia. Active, determined Samira Ismailova is a Bolnisi majoritarian candidate. Despited stereotyped approach to gender and age,she took 41%, and though she lost , her candidacy started is the vital for overcomming the existing stereotypes.

The young and active woman has gained the trust and respect of ethnic Azerbaijanis in Georgia.

She began active social life upon graduation from school. 7 years ago, the ethnic Azeri students formed an organization.She believes that all ethnic minorities living in Georgia must be fluent in Georgia, because the language barrier is a major problem for social integration.

One of her main future plan is to increase the role and functions of ethnic Azerbaijani women in social life.
