The European Parliament calls on the EU Council to open talks on visa waiver for Georgia without further delays

The letter, which the European Parliament"s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs sent to the EU Council President country Slovakia calls on the Council to start trilateral negotiations on visa liberalization issues in early November.

THe European parliamentarians were not satisfied about the decision of the EU Council, according to which the three-party talks would not begin until the so-called a mechanism for suspension of the agreement is ot agrred on.

"Our main principle is that all the countries that meet the criteria, should benefit from visa liberalization," - is said in the statement.
