The "UNM" supporter has been beaten up in the village of Sobey in Gori district. The injured Albert Merebashvili says that he was beaten when he went to the polling station to vote.

He accused of beating him a council member Koba Berianidze, who is also a member of the Georgian Dream.

As he puts it, he was beaten by up to 10-11 persons led by Koba Berianidze. He excludes personal motives and says that he saw Berianidze for the first time .

The victim was taken to the Gori office of the National Movement, where the ambulance was called. The doctors decided that he should be transported to the hospital.

The UNM majoritarian candidate Badri Basilashvili says that the UNM won the elections in this village on October 8, and as he said, that was a special reason for irritation of the ruling party and today`s confrontation.
