The delegates of the international forum "Religion and Peace" held in Batumi responded to recent developments in Mokhe.
The Chairman of the Georgian Muslims` Union, Tariel Nakaidze, says that the building belongs to the Muslim community and the government should make a wise decision.
"The government should make a wise decision once and for all and return the building to its owner. This is the right approach. Any other negotiations, I think, will bring the case into deadlock and give stimulate the same type of problem in various villages , "- said Tariel Nakaidze.
The Bishop of Evangelical Baptist Church, Malkhaz Songhulashvili said the "issue should not be politicized. This is a mosque, and it must be returned to its owner."
