Abuse of power - this is one of the problems, which the study conducted by the Transparency International - Georgia has revealed in Georgia. The report explored the situation with corruption.

The document will be released by the organization today, however, it says that corruption in Georgia is relatively low compared with other countries.

According to the study , the population is not informed on the corruption.

The organization calls on the relevant authorities to react appropriately, to the information about illegal activities spread in the media.

"The results indicate that the levels of petty corruption in Georgia is low, but there are problems with a high-ranking corruption or abuse of power and this is another area that needs attention," - said Erekle Urushadze.
