For several hours, the Supreme Court has been considering the Rustavi 2 case. It is unknown whether the first session has finihsed, whether the judges will meet in the next few days and when the decision will be known to the parties.

It is only known that the Supreme Court has to render a decision on the case before January 25, 2017 when the 6-month deadline for decision on the case expires.

Rustavi 2`s lawyer Dmitry Sadzaglishvili said the Supreme Court has three options with regard to the decision :

"One option is that the appeal can be satisfied with the appeal and the case returned to the Court of Appeal. As a lawyer, I think that these complaint are to be satisfied especially in circumstances when the Court accepted the appeal and said that there were violations in the previous instances .

The second option is to reverse the decision of the Court of Appeal and take a new decision that is not to to satisfy the claim of the plaintiff, i.e. Kibar Khalvashi.

And the thirs option is to upheld the decision of the Court of Appeal and to give Rustavi2 to Kibar Khalvashi, "- said Dmitry Sadzaglishvili.

In the thirsd case Rustavi 2 intends to appeal to the Strasbourg Court.
