"Ivanishvili has instructed to issue a decision before November 30th in order to seize Rustavi 2 "- Helen Khoshtaria

The Parliamentary minority continues to speak about the pressure on the Supreme Court judges with regard to Rustavi 2 case.

According to the information obtained by the National Movement, the Grand Chamber will issue verdict before November 30.

According to them, the government wants to silence critical media, which would jeopardize the country`s democracy.

"Ivanishvili instructed to quickly issue a decision before November 30th in order to seize Rustavi 2. Such blatant forms of silencing Rustavi-2 when there is constitutional majority and an informal ruler, is an insult of the public and the Georgian society will not tolerate it , "- stated Helen Khoshtaria.

The non-parliamentary opposition also focuses on the threats and pressure on judges.
They talk about the necessity of an oral hearing and believe that the court`s decision should not inspire more questions and doubts.

"The court is completely under the influence and the fact that political decisions are made on politically important cases is not a surprise. The final decision on Rustavi 2 case will be damaging in terms of international reputation of the country as well as internally in terms of freedom of media, "- said a member of the Free Democrats Levan Samushia.
