Media experts also suspect that the government wants to settle the issue of Rustavi-2 as soon as possible.

In their view, the government will try to force the Grand Chamber to issue a ruling in their favor.

"The fact is that pressure is put on judges. I do not know, and I will refrain from particular names, but their common name is Ivanishvili and the Georgian Dream who do everything in order to get rid of "Rustavi 2" as quickly as possible, "- said Ninia Kakabadze.

Media experts believe that the Supreme Court Chamber shoud return the case back to the lower instance court, however, they doubt that this fact would take place.

They believe that the change of Rustavi 2 editorial policy would change the media environment in the country.

"Changing of Rustavi 2 editorial policy will change the overall media environment in the country and this is dangerous," - says the chairman of the board of Media Development Foundation, Tamar Kintsurashvili.
