Secretary of the Council of the Supreme Court Levan Murusidze say that the statements regarding the pressure on judges are "slander" and claims that according to his information there is no pressure on the judges of Rustavi 2 case.

Levan Murusidze also said that MP Ivan Zardiashvili had nothing to do with the judges, so the allegations of pressure by MP on the judges needed more argumentation and reasoning.

"Mikhail Chinchaladze for many months has not had any contact with the three judges. As to Vano Zardiashvili, this is absurd. You can ask the judges if they know him or if they have hadany kind of relationship in general with Zardiashvili. All this is slander. I have checked the information with Chinchaladze. I know the judges said that they had not been subjected to any pressure. I declare that this is a slander. I do not have any information regarding pressure on any of the judges from the Minister of Justice , "- Mr Murusidze.
