The United Nations Ambassador to Georgia focused on the importance of the independent media as an important part of democracy.

Niels Scott estimates that every process, including the Rustavi 2 case ,should be conducted impartially.

"Any legal decision has to be fair and impartial. This is the basis of what the court is . The UNDP supports free media, which is an important part of democracy. Now I look forward to what the decision will be taken, "- said Niels Scott.
