The meeting of George Kvirikashvili and Jens Stoltenberg at NATO Headquarters ended with a press conference during which the Rustavi2 issue was raised. 

Prime Minister said that Rustavi 2 case was a court dispute conducted with maximum transparency.

"Whatever the trial`s outcome, our interference in editorial politics of the independent television stations is ruled out " - said Prime Minister
The prime minister highlighted the importance of media freedom.

"The media is a fundamental issue. A few years ago we only had three national televisions, they were ruled by the government administration, today we have one of the most successful digital broadcasting reform. We have 40 national channels, "- said the Prime Minister.
