At the initiative of the Minister of Internal Affairs innovative service for getting driving license has been introduced for the people with disabilities

At the Service Agency, Rustavi Giorgi Mgebrishvili attended presentation of the vehicle adapted for disabled persons. Minister participated in the imitated driver license examination and personally evaluated the efficiency of the new service.

At this stage, only certain categories of persons with disabilities will benefit from the specialized vehicles, however, in the future each person with disabilities will be able pass the practical test for the driver license with a specially adapted car.

One of the major priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs includes development of the innovative and social projects. Environment of each regional unit of the Service Agency is adapted for the persons with disabilities as a result of which they receive the desired service without any obstacles, the ministry says.
