This year police officers will care for the security of tourists in the ski resorts. The relevant pilot project was launched by Interior Minister Giorgi Mghebrishvili’s initiative in January 2016.
Patrol police officers have passed training at the Police Academy in connection with the start of the holiday season.

According to the Interior Ministry"s press service, 74 police officers took part in the training from all regions of Georgia.

The police officers will be equipped with special uniforms and tools in order to prevent accidents and protect safety of the tourists.
