The First Lady met with the international organizations on the issue of humanitarian aid to the children of Syria.

The meeting was attended by heads of international humanitarian organizations operating in Georgia.

Maka Chichua expressed interest in the information which organizations had about affected children in Syria, in particular the city of Aleppo and the means by which they can be helped.

The two sides discussed what can be done about the situation in the first place and what kind of aid is needed for the victims.

After the meeting, the participants commented on the importance of the meeting.

"We had a very interesting meeting with the First Lady. We discussed the assistance that children in Syria need. The refugees crisis has spread acrossthe whole of Europe. Georgia`s First Lady noted that she was looking for the ways to help and said that the people of Georgia could provide their help can, "- said the UN coordinator, Niels Scott.
