Submission of applications is completed at Georgian Public Broadcaster. The Board of Trustees will start to study application of 15 candidates and interview them.

The board has less than 10 days to elect a head of GPB. It is expected that the elected candidate will be named on January 6 .

Although according to the amendments to the rules, the drug test is not mandatory, Nino Zautashvili calls on all competitors offers this document hereby to submit results of the test.

Candidates are : Tiko Berdzenishvili, an acting director of the public broadcaster, Nino Zautahvili- an anchor, Journalists- Nikoloz Mchedlishvili, Ramaz Samkharadze, Tamaz Bibiluri, Margarita Dolidze and Vasil Maghlapheridze, which is considered as the government"s favorite.
