Reportedly the Prosecutor"s Office has already launched investigation.

" The Prosecutor"s Office launched investigation on January 14, 2017 based on the Judge Alavidze and Judge Katamadze"s announcement about the alleged facts of flagrant interference in order to influence the judges. At this stage the investigation has conducted a number of i actions and the investigation continues intensively," states Natia Sukhiashvili, a head of Public and Media Relations Department of the Prosecutor"s Office.

The investigation is underway under the paragraph 2 of article 364 of the Criminal code
