Investigation into case of t Judges - Gvaramia to hold briefing at noon

Rustavi 2 Director General will hold a special briefing regarding the investigation into possible pressure on the Supreme Court judges, Paata Katamadze and Besarion Alavidze.

The prosecutor`s office launched investigation innto the case on January 14, but it became known only yesterday. The company`s lawyers find it suspicious why the prosecutor`s office has announced before about the start of the investigation.

According to Tamta Muradashvili ,Paata Katamadze and Besarion Alavidze are the board members, who discussed the case of Rustavi 2 and passed it over for consideration to the Supreme Court`s Grand Chamber.

The lawyer said that this fact gave rise to doubts that from the very beginning they were being subject to pressure to issue the decision not in favor of Rustavi2 .
