Another attack on Rustavi 2 - this was the assessment of opposition of the fact that the investigation was started into the so-called Judges`case .

The opposition is also suspicious of the fact that the investigation which began on January 14 was announced only yesterday.

The opposition states that the ruling party is threatening the freedom of media and the judiciary.

"The authorities already knew about it from 14 January, and for us it became known only today. The fact is very simple, Russia and Ivanishvili are jointly fighting against free media in Georgia and destroying the judicial system, "- said the Deputy Chairman of the National Movement political Council Zaza Bibilashvili.

"This is an attempt to overshadow a very large-scale pressure on the participants using some fabricated Viber text messaging. As we can see, there is enormous pressure on teh judges involved in the Rustavi 2 trial, "- said Giorgi Tugushi.
